Prime Power Systems

Prime power systems are generator installations designed to serve as the primary source of electricity for a facility. Unlike standby systems that only operate during outages, prime power engines are built to run regularly and support changing facility loads under normal conditions.

Prime power plants may operate fully islanded with no utility connection, or they may run in parallel with the grid for peak shaving and demand control.
